Berkeley Symphony – Under Construction (10/13/2011)

YES! I am one of three very fortunate composers to be part of Berkeley Symphony’s “Under Construction” Program. That means that in January, and again later in the spring, Berkeley Symphony (under the incredible direction of Joana Carniero) will be performing original music by yours truly. I feel AWESOME…

Many thanks to Meerenai Shim for being such a dream to work with and a force to be reckoned with when it comes to banging the drum for new music!

International Orange Chorale to Perform New Work

The concert series will feature American Composers of the 20th and 21st Centry, inlcuding Robert Moran, Irving Fine, Craig Johnson, and Milton Babbitt. The chorale was one of the choirs participating in the 7th Bi-Annual SFCM Choral Composition Competition. My work “And After That” won 2nd prize at this concert – visit my composition page for audio.
